Purpose of the treatment and legal basis
The generic personal data (name, surname, email, telephone number, address) provided by you at the time of your adhesion to FIL will be processed for the following purposes: 1) To send thank-you messages to the donor and to send the disbursement receipt ; 2) To send information about research awareness campaigns; 3) for other statutory purposes or connected and instrumental ones to the activities of the FIL; any processing related to legal obligations. The legal basis for these treatments is the express consent of the data subject; consent is required; failure to provide personal data may make it impossible to receive thank-you messages, to stay up to date on research activities and to receive the release receipt.

Treatment modalities
All data are collected and recorded in a legal and correct way for the purposes explained above and they are also processed with the aid of computer systems and specific databases compatible with these purposes. To this end, FIL is responsible for having access to these treatments only by qualified personnel authorized to do it, also, it is responsible for using exact and updated data, pertinent, complete and not exceeding the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed. It should also be noted that the data is stored in a form that allows the identification of the data subject for a period of time not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed, taking into account the respect of the terms of statute of limitations, without prejudice to the obligations to keep accounting records pursuant to applicable and future laws. The data, in addition to being stored in paper form, is also treated with the aid of electronic or automated media. All processing can be carried out by appointed personnel, or by third parties appointed as Managers or persons in charge of the processing operations entrusted to them (such as, for example, services, etc.). All data, including those on PC, are protected from unauthorized access. In particular, the protection of data via internet is based on standard operator identification techniques using an individual password; there are generally differentiated access levels and segmentation of the archives. Period of storage of personal data. Personal data will be kept for ten years from the last contact, the Data Controller will keep the data for the completion of the terms established by law for the preservation of administrative documents, after which they will be eliminated.

Communication and dissemination of data
Personal data can be communicated to third parties for the provision of administrative, accounting, informatic, archiving, topographical and shipping services or instrumental services to the development of the activity always and exclusively for the purposes of the abovementioned processing data. In compliance with the law, it may occur the possibility of data transfers to countries belonging to the European Union, exclusively for the realization of the purposes of the treatment. It is not expected the communication of data outside the European Union and it is not foreseen the distribution of it. The interested person has the right, at any time, to ask to Data Controller the access to your personal data, rectification, deletion of the same, limitation of processing. Furthermore, you have the right to against, at any time, the processing of your data (including automated processing, eg profiling) as well as to the portability of your data. Without prejudice to any other administrative and judicial appeal, if you believe that the processing of data concerning you violates the provisions of EU Reg. 2016/679, pursuant to art. 15 letter f) of the abovementioned EU Reg. 2016/679, you have the right to complain to the Guarantor for the protection of personal data and, with reference to art. 6 paragraph 1, letter a) and art. 9, paragraph 2, letter a), has the right to revoke the consent given at any time. In case of request for data portability, the Data Controller will provide to data subject the data in a structured format, commonly used and readable, by automatic device, the personal data concerning him, without prejudice to paragraphs 3 and 4 of the art. 20 of the EU Reg. 2016/679.
