The\u00a0<\/span><\/span>cutaneous lymphoma<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is a relatively rare type of cancer that originates from lymphoid cells and manifests itself on the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>skin<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. Most\u00a0<\/span><\/span>of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>cutaneous<\/span><\/span>\u00a0lymphomas have<\/span><\/span>\u00a0slow clinical course\u00a0<\/span><\/span>and relapses occur in the skin. S<\/span><\/span>ome types<\/span><\/span>\u00a0of cutaneous lymphomas<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>are\u00a0<\/span><\/span>more aggressive and can spread to other tissues.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Among the various types of cutaneous lymp<\/strong><\/span><\/span>homa<\/strong> are distinguished mainly:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0primitive T-cell (the mycosis\u00a0<\/span><\/span>fungoides<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and its variants,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Sezary<\/span><\/span>\u00a0syndrome, cutaneous lymphoproliferative disease cell CD3<\/span><\/span>0 +, other rare entities), primary cutaneous B-cell (<\/span><\/span>cutaneous marginal zone,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>center follicle zone<\/span><\/span>, diffuse large cell) and other entities very rare<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0objectives<\/b> of Cutaneous lymphomas Commission<\/strong> are:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Discuss and approve the proposals for studies aimed to identify factors of prognostic relevance in the different types of cutaneous\u00a0lymphomas\u00a0(LC);\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Discuss and approve\u00a0the proposals of studies for the treatment of patients with LC at\u00a0diagnosis and \/ or during relapse of disease;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Plan and carry out retrospective studies aimed at better understanding\u00a0of\u00a0the role of specific treatment modalities;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
