FIL Scientific Committees are responsible for evaluating the study proposals in terms of their scientific value and feasibility. Proposals are submitted to the Foundation by clinicians and researchers from hospitals across the country or developed in collaboration with international research institutions.
The proposals are discussed during committee meetings, where suggestions, amendments, and evaluations are put forward.
Once approved by the Scientific Committee, the studies are then review by Steering Committee for final approval and project initiation.
The Scientific committee continues to oversee the studies throughout their course, monitoring progress and providing updates or recommendations to the principal investigator and to the Foundation’s governing bodies.
